“I picked this group because they were in network and local. My issue is with their billing department. I believe they are incompetent. I received a bill that was much higher than expected. I called and they stated my coverage lapsed. I informed them that was not the case (same company almost 30 year, no lapse). I encouraged them to make sure they were billing the correct insurance company. They said they had but would run it again. I follow up multiple times. They finally send me an EOB that shows not only are they billing the wrong insurance company they added a digit to my identification number. I point out their error. They say they will take care of it. Weeks later they still have not billed my insurance and are threatening to charge me. I call again. I think they will finally take care of it now but I've wasted so much time and been forced to find another provider. Very frustrating.”

“The experience with my therapist, Christine Jarka, has been excellent. However, I will note that it is VERY difficult to cancel or reschedule a session with the Lifestance office - or online. I have had a tough time reaching a (live) office staff member when I call the 800 number, as they have labyrinthine automated systems that make it hard to reach a live rep - AND I am kept on hold for a long time. Also, when there was a death in my family, I was told that there would be no exception to the 48 business hours cancellation policy, which is the only time I was thinking about cancelling less than 48 business hours in advance - and I thought it was pretty cold and heartless of Lifestance to still impose a late cancelation fee for this, so I ended up not canceling, though I really needed to.”
