“I was a patient of Alejandro Lopez, and unfortunately my experience was not a positive one. Despite my documented history of bipolar disorder, he believed PTSD was a more accurate diagnosis and prescribed an antidepressant. For those that are unaware giving an antidepressant to someone with bipolar disorder triggers mania. In my case, the medication triggered a severe manic episode that significantly disrupted my life, including impulsive major decisions (moving out of state and quitting my job due to delusions) and a period where I hit rock bottom. I understand that no doctor can control a patient’s actions, and I take responsibility for my own choices, but I do feel this treatment approach was not appropriate for someone with my history. I’m now on medications that are working much better for me, and I’ve learned the importance of seeking additional opinions and doing more research about treatment options.”

“Our experience with Isaac Lee, PMHNP-BC, at Oak Health Center regarding treatment for our son’s ADHD was extremely disappointing. We attended multiple appointments, spent time and money, and ultimately left feeling that absolutely nothing meaningful had been accomplished.
