“I spent 3 years trying to get my son properly assessed but kept hitting roadblocks with insurance and long waitlists. Last year I decided to switch insurance, which led me to reach out to SD BrainWorks who confirmed that they had an opening to see Dr. Howard, and I’m so glad I took it. My son was tested at the end of February, and I received his full report by the end of April, which is such a quick turnaround compared to what I’d experienced before. Dr. Amelia Howard was warm, easy to talk to, and truly listened to my concerns. My son felt comfortable with her and even enjoyed the process, which surprised me. “I wasn't planning to review but did see a lot of similar experiences here. I am not finding their evaluation reliable and also misdiagnosed, along with incorrect descriptions in the reports. The call for was 30mins. I was surprised how it was delivered given the conditions in the report. They were in hurry, fast paced, and barely could follow. I had to slow them down many times so I know what am hearing. They eventually extended the call knowing I wasn't agreeing to the findings. However, when I received the report back, I thought there would be some adjustments. But its the same. So I am at lost with the time and money spent here, I got nothing out of it fruitful and more misleading. I don't recommend this place.”
