“Got to be one of the worst experiences I've had in healthcare. The only person who provided good care was Dr. Edgar - he was thorough in answering my questions and genuinely seemed to care about the patient. Dr. Karina Shulman, on the other hand, was completely dismissive and harshly questioned why I was seeing a psychiatrist after 1) I had just spent the last hour explaining my most traumatic experiences from the last decade, and 2) my primary care doctor had REFERRED me. After being vulnerable with the psychiatrist and talking in depth about past experiences, Karina came in and made me feel invalidated and disturbed, to say the least. And she wasn't even in the office, they summoned her on a phone screen... I knew right after this interaction that I would not seek services here. To finish off the front desk/remote office team completely dropped the ball as well: Offered me therapy services that I was ineligible for; could not confirm my insurance information after a week (they kept referencing an incorrect insurance plan when I only have one and had provided them the correct one on 3 different ocassions); and did not call back to follow up when they said they would. Lastly, their business name and website clearly states that they offer TMS therapy services. I had to ask twice before the psychiatrist clarified that they haven't offered those services in years. Seems like something important to update. It's crazy how much went wrong for a place that is supposed to help people that struggle to help themselves. This is not the place.”
